What we collect
We only collect information we actually need to quote on and carry out your project. Depending on how you contact us, that may include:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the suburb or address of the property the work relates to;
- details about the project — the type of work, approximate budget, preferred timeline and any notes you give us;
- measurements, plans, photographs and design files relating to your project;
- records of our correspondence with you.
We do not collect payment card details through this website.
How we collect it
Most information is collected directly from you — through an enquiry or quote form on this website, by phone, by email, or in person at our showroom or on site. We may also receive your details if you contact us through Google or a referral.
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote;
- design, schedule and complete work you engage us for;
- order materials and coordinate trades for your project;
- keep records of work carried out, including for warranty purposes;
- meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Who we share it with
We may share relevant details with third parties where it is necessary to carry out your project — for example suppliers, stonemasons, appliance providers, installers and subcontracted trades. We share only what those parties need. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
Cookies and website analytics
This website uses cookies and analytics tools to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Maps and embedded content
Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map of our showroom. When that page loads, Google may collect information such as your IP address and may set cookies, under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). We do not receive that information. If you would rather avoid this, you can find our address and directions in the details above.
How we store and protect it
Your information is held in our business systems and email, and in our project records. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security of information sent to us online.
How long we keep it
We keep project records for as long as we need them for warranty, insurance, tax and legal purposes, and then dispose of them securely.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is wrong. Contact us using the details above and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.
Complaints
If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
